Error description

  • When an XSLT relationship lookup is performed with a value not
    found in
    the lookup table the resulting output of the XSLT primitive will
    contain
    a string of letters/numbers instead of a representation of the
    null
    value returned. This iFix will allow a default value to be set
    in this
    case instead

    * or Process Server version 7 who use the *
    * XSLT primitive may encounter this issue. *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When an XSLT relationship lookup is *
    * performed with a value not found in *
    * the lookup table the resulting output *
    * of the XSLT primitive will contain a *
    *                      string of letters/numbers instead of    *
    * a representation of the null value *
    * returned. This iFix will allow a *
    * default value to be set in this case *
    *                      instead                                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: If a random string is seen after an XSLT *
    * lookup is performed, where there should be *
    * a null value, apply this APAR to allow a *
    *                 default value instead.                       *
    ****************************************************************
    When an XSLT relationship lookup does not match, random
    letters and numbers are output instead of a default value.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been modified such that a default value will now
    appear where the incorrect string was.
