Error description

  • When using an MQ Import binding and setting dynamic mq url the
    MQMD expiry is not overidden.  This can cause the message to
    expire very quickly and in some cases before the backup
    application picks it up.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using an MQ Import binding and     *

    Import of MQ Bindings with dynamic queue was propagating a
    random number for MQMD.Expiry field in the header
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been changed to prevent this problem from occuring.
    
    
    The fix is targeted to be included in the following fix packs:
        6.2.0 Fix Pack 4 (6.2.0.4)
        7.0.0 Fix Pack 4 (7.0.0.4)
