APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Siebel adapter is not able to connect to a clustered Siebel
  environment as the property for setting the list of virtual
  server servers cannot be set by the Siebel client libraries.
  
  The only way to set this parameter is to provide the Siebel
  client libraries with a siebel.properties file with the
  parameter 'siebel.conmgr.virtualhosts' set to the list of Siebel
  systems within the cluster.
  

Local fix

• Adaptere has to be configured to coonect directly to one of the
  servers in the cliuster.

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:

Problem conclusion

• WebSphere Message Broker has been modified to add an extra
  object to the EISProviders configurable service for the Siebel
  folder.  The new property, siebelPropertiesURL, can now be set
  to point at a siebel.properties file.  The only supported
  property for this file is 'siebel.conmgr.virtualhosts'.
  
  Two new BIP messages have been created
  
  BIP3427I -- to inform the customer that a siebel.properties
  file is being used
  BIP3428E -- to inform the customer that there were problems
  accessing the siebel.properties file provided
