Error description

  • Users using z/VM will notice that the hypervisor is active and
provides statistics, but virtual machine related operations
fail. The user will not be able to start/stop/delete virtual
systems and will not get any ILMT information for active virtual
machines. This is because of an unexpected character randomly
inserted by zVM into user directory information. Once this user
is discovered by WCA, there is no workaround to get virtual
    machine data back.
