APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • By default, the enumeration approach is used.
When using predefined fabric groups in a probe job and changing
the probe algorithm from enumeration to associators, not all
    fabrics will be probed.

    RECREATE STEPS:
    1) Use a predefined fabric group to set up a fabric probe.
    2) Change the algorithm used from enumeration to associators
    via "setfpplyc" in tpctool.

Local fix

  • Do not use the pre-defined groups.
Define a new job for each fabric probe then switch to
    associators algorithm.
