Error description

  • During reclamation, the server reports:
    ANR9999D_2215753906 EndMoveVolume(./afrclm.c:3475)
      Thread<283319568ll>:
reclamation terminated for volume ABC001 - unexpected result
      code (26). (PROCESS: 133)
ANR1092E Space reclamation is ended for volume ABC001. An
internal server error was detected. (PROCESS: 133)

Files on the volumes with this error can be recovered by doing
    one of the following:

      1. If the volume belongs to a primary storage pool:
         a. Issue the AUDIT VOLUME volser FIX=YES RTRVLOGICAL=YES
command. Files that have encountered this problem and
have copies in a copy storage pool will be marked
damaged. Files that do not have a copy in a copy
            storage pool will be deleted.
         b. If the files on the volume had been backed up to a copy
storage pool, issue the RESTORE STGPOOL or the RESTORE
VOLUME command to restore any files marked damaged to
            the primary storage pool.
         c. If the files on the volume had not been backed up to
a copy storage pool, perform a client backup or archive
to reinsert the files into the server.

      2. If the volume belongs to a copy storage pool:
         a. Issue the AUDIT VOLUME volser FIX=YES RTRVLOGICAL=YES
command. Files that have encountered this problem will
            be deleted.
         b. During the next storage pool backup, the deleted files
will be copied to the copy storage pool.

Circumvention for the condition includes the following:
      1) For the z/OS server, install a ZAP to prevent the
creation of aggregates with invalid offsets.
      2) Create separate scheduled maintenance windows for
         expiration and reclamation.

      TSM Versions Affected:
      All TSM servers

      Customer/L2 Diagnostics (If Applicable):
      None

      Initial Impact:
