IC67436: 6.2.0 SERVER INSTALLER FAILS TO UPGRADE MULTIPLE INSTANCES IN WINDOWS 2003

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The RXA tool used in the Server installer fails to open a second
  session after the first session has been closed on Windows 2003.
  The instance file will only contain the instance information for
  the first instance while the rest of the instances will be
  missing database names and instance variables. As a result, the
  installer will not reconfigure the databases and variables for
  the affected instances after the upgrade.
