Error description

  • DETAIL OF PROBLEM:
    A defect in the batch reporting code exists where the time limit
    is not taken into consideration in one of the queries that is
    run to gather the performance data specified by the user in the
    TPC GUI.  The result is a blank .pdf report being created.  This
    same report can be created ad-hoc in the TPC GUI.

Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: All TPC 3.3.2 and 4.1.x users that try to    *
    *                 run history batch reports using a filter     *
    *                 for a specific value/metric.                 *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Historical performance batch reports    *
    *                      show inconsistend data in html/pdf      *
    *                      chart or csv exports with the existing  *
    *                      performance reports in TPC.  This       *
    *                      occured when using a filter.            *

    *                      The same number of entities should be   *
    *                      displayed in historical performance     *
    *                      reports in the TPC GUI, and in          *
    *                      historical batch reports.               *

Problem conclusion

  • A fix has been made to the filtering to correct the
    discrepancy.  The fix for this APAR is targeted for the
