Error description

• If the administrator "analyst" is being used after an upgrade to
  Tivoli Storage Manager 6.1, several administrative commands will
  fail with the following error:

  Since the "analyst" administrator has been eliminated in version
  6.1, the ability to select this administrative authority will be
  disabled.

Local fix

• Use the "operator" authority. Be sure that the option QUERYAUTH
  in the dsmserv.opt file is changed in order to use the
  "operator" authority

Problem conclusion

• This problem was fixed. Message ANR4859I will be displayed
  and the QUERYAUTH option will be ignored resulting in the
  default setting being used.
  Affected platforms:  AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Linux and Windows.
