Error description

  • A multi-process migration or migration while a store operation
into the same pool can hang the migration processes.
Multiple Query Process output will show migrations not moving
    any data.

    L2 Diagnostics:
Trace with the following trace flags after migrations have hung:

    TRACE ENABLE DF TM
    TRACE BEGIN /tmp/dsmserv.trc BUFSIZE=4096

The above trace flags will be verbose, so only run the trace for
    5 to 10 minutes.

The following trace example shows the same storage pool "Pool 4"
is being skipped to prevent a deadlock.
Also, in this trace example, multiple migration threads are
seeing the same deadlock condition ( Threads [12727], [12729]
    and [12777] )
