Error description

• The lanfree session or proxy node type session can stay
  Resource Waiting , idleW or RecW while  the storage agent active
  read or write data to a media.  This type of session will
  timeout after waiting time reaches the according server timeout
  value and cause the according lanfree backup or restore to fail.
  The timeout includes  Resourcetimeout, idletimeout and
  commtimeout.

  A lanfree restore was run with the following tsm server timeout
  value:
  
  Resourcetimeout 60
  Commtimout  1200
  idletimeout     120
  
  
  
  1:  The  command routing a storage agent  "STANAME: q sess f=d "
  shows the storage agent session number  624  is active storing
  data.

  is in idleW and resouceW, although the lanfree session 624 is

  The example  Resourcetimeout  (60mis ) is lower then idletimeout
  (120mins). Session  45226 failed after its Resource waitTime
  reached 60mins, The  lanfree  restore failed with the following
  command logged in the TSM server  activity log:

Local fix

• Increase the TSM server's timeout  to a value greater than the
  length of a lanfree backup or a lanfree restore to  prevent the
  timeout from happening.

Problem conclusion

• This problem was fixed.  Note that the fix was delivered
  in the storage agent at the levels listed. A server
  at the fixed levels might still experience this issue with
  LAN-free operations that are performed using storage
  agents that are not at or above the listed fix levels.
