The long password (more than 512 bytes length) via JDBC connection can cause IDS memory corruption with assertion failure or instance crash. No immediate crash, depends on environment.

Problem conclusion
Problem has been fixed in IDS 10.00.xC11, IDS 11.10.xC4, and 11.50.xC5. Now, connections with >= 512 characters will be rejected.
