Error description

• The installation of the TSM 6.1 Server may fail with an error
  indicating that DB2 could not be installed due to a failed
  requirement for disk space.  The contents of the
  DeploymentPlan.log file will confirm the DB2 installation
  failure:

     Started:   Deployment Step: step_00002_DB2_9.5
                Machine Plan:    MachinePlan_localhost

     Failed:    Deployment Step: step_00002_DB2_9.5
                Machine Plan:    MachinePlan_localhost
  .
  The DB2_9.5.log file will indicate that the 'Req_disk_space'
  requirement had failed:

Local fix

• 1. cd to /<install_dir>/COI/DeploymentSteps/DB2_9.5/META-INF
        directory
     2. Remove from the packagedIU.xml file the following entries:

               Disk space required.</defaultLineText>
             </description>
             <alternative name="Alt_disk_space">
               <inlineCheck>
                 <consumption checkId="Check_disk_space"

                     key="CheckDesc_Check_disk_space">
                     Check if disk space of 550 MB is available.

     3. Save the packagedIU.xml file and retry the installation
