  In the Deployment Wizard, when the FTP file transfer is selected
  as the default for file transfer in a 3270 session and Auto-
  Select is chosen in the Preload Options, the FTP selection is
  not included.
  When the client is loaded, a message is receive that the com-
  ponent was not loaded and must be downloaded now if you would
  like to use.  The browser must be restarted.
  FTP file transfer should be included wth the session when this
  type of file transfer is selected.

Local fix

• Review and include all of the options needed in a Deployment
  Wizard file and do not rely on the Auto-Select option.

  While configuring 3270 and 5250 session, selecting FTP as the
  FileTransferType, the client will load. But if Auto-Select is
  done, the FTP component is not included in the initial
  download of the client. When FTP is selected, a message that
  the component was not loaded pops up.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was modified so that when Auto-Select is selected,
  the FTP component is included in the list of components to
  download.
