Error description

  • When the IBM Content Search Services server is started from the
    command line,  IBM Content Collector P8 Content Search Services
    Supportlog information is also written to the console.

Problem summary

  • When a user started the IBM Content Search Services server from
    the command line by using the startup.sh or startup.bat command,
     P8 Content Search Services Support log information was printed
    in that command window in addition to any success or failure
    messages regarding the server start.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Starting with this fix, IBM Content Collector P8 Content Search
    Services Support no longer writes log information to the Content
     Search Services server console.
    

Temporary fix

  • Fixed in 4.0.1.2-IBM-ICC-FP002
