Error description
When IBM Content Collector is configured to process Lotus Domino email, the internet representation of the sender email address is sometimes missing in the extracted metadata.
Local fix
n/a
Problem summary
IBM Content Collector extracts the "sent by" email addresses from the email fields Principal and InetPrincipal. However, InetPrincipal is not always available. If it is missing, only the Principal field can be used and the internet representation of the sender email address is missing.
Problem conclusion
Starting with IBM Content Collector 3.0.0 IF005, IBM Content Collector extracts the internet email address of the sender from other email fields if the InetPrincipal field is not available. For example, if the fields Principal and From are identical, the internet representation can be retrieved from the field InetFrom.
