Error description

  • During installation, AUTHENTICATED_USERS may be removed from the
P8 object store unexpectedly under some unusual circumstances.

Local fix

  • After installation, manually add AUTHENTICATED_USERS to the
    object store.

Problem summary

  • When installing eDiscovery Manager on P8 authenticated users
may be be removed from the object store.

Problem conclusion

  • When fetching authenticated_users the exception

E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND was thrown and the authenticated user was
    being removed.
During installation, the installer checks for valid users
and deletes those without authentication rights.

Before fetching users, the installer filters out those
that are authenticated users which puts them on a KEEP list.
Then the remaining users are deleted that are not in the KEEP
    list.
