Error description
In eDiscovery Manager 2.1.1 Fix Pack 1, the 'RECIPIENTS' field initially shows up when configuring the collection. Once the collection is saved, this field does not show up any more in the GUI. As a result, 'RECIPIENTS' can't be used as a search field. However, if the collection is exported to an XML file, the XML shows that this field is part of the collection definition. This issue does not happen with eDM 2.1.1 GA.
Local fix
1. Export the collection where you will find RECIPIENTS field like this. <field nm="RECIPIENTS" type="STRING"> <search>recipient_addresses</search> <reference>TO</reference> </field> 2. Remove the reference tag and then save the xml file after which the RECIPIENTS will look like this. <field nm="RECIPIENTS" type="STRING"> <search>recipient_addresses</search> </field> 3. Now, import the collection and save (Note - you don't have to drop the old collection, the import will just overwrite).
