Restriction Explanation
.
The computation of the extension line of the
roughness is based on the interection obtained
between the View plane and the Geometry. For a
case of a cone, the intersection line which is made
up of small number of lines may not be parallel to
the actual geometry. Also, these lines change when
you change the accuracy. This is the yellow line
that you see when you move the roughness.
Hence, when you move the roughness outside the
geometry, it may not be exactly parallel to the
geometry or the dimension line in this case
.
By-Pass
1. Create the roughness on the dimension line
2. Reduce the 3D Accuracy. The gap will reduce but
it will still be there.
