  • ABSTRACT:
    ASD: SCENE FOR ONE PRODUCT IS LOST WHEN IT
    IS OPENED WITH ANOTHER PRODUCT.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1. Launch CATIA V5R18SP3 & go to Assembly
    Design w/b.
    2. Open Product1.CATProduct.
    3. As you can see it contain a scene and everything
    is ok.
    4. Close Catia.
    5. Open a new Catia session.
    6. Open "TEST.CATProduct".
    7. As you can see it contain two scenes and
    everything is ok.
    8. Open Product1.CATProduct in the same Catia
    session.
    9. Link to CATNewScenesStup.CATfct is lost and
    the scene do not appear in the Catia tree.
    .
    RESULT:
    The scene for one product is lost when it is opened
    with another product.
    .
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The scene for one product should not be lost when
    it is opened with another product.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE
    20 GA LEVEL.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R19SP01
    AND ON V5R18SP07.
    Incident Diagnosis
    ASD: SCENE FOR ONE PRODUCT IS LOST WHEN IT
    IS OPENED WITH ANOTHER PRODUCT.
    Correction Explanation
    The new scenes are not retreived because the
    CATProduct has links to the CATNewScenesStUp feature catalog
    in uppercase.
    We are not able to reproduce such a CATProduct.
    As a consequence, we can just clean the corrupted CATProduct.
    .
