Problem summary

  • A START OF APPLICATION OF xxx DRIVER FREEZES CATIA.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
      CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 10 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R9SP04.

     CATIA is blocking by a port COM open already used by
    xxx driver.
     Activating LPFK generated a conflict between COM ports
    defined for Mouse/Spaceball and LPFK. They must have
    different COM ports.
    .
    The problem is fixed: no more conflict occurs
    .
    To force association of LPFK deamon with a port COM
    it is possible to define following variable:
    CATTabletPort=COM1.
    CATTabletPort=COM2.
