IBM System Storage N series System Level Diagnostics Guide

Abstract

This document describes how to boot and operate the system-level diagnostics in a command-line interface available for IBM® System Storage™ N series N3150, N3220, N3240, N6200 series and N7x50T series products that run the Data ONTAP® embedded operating system. It explains how to use system-level diagnostics to resolve five common troubleshooting situations. It does not provide detailed definitions of specific tests, error messages, or conditions.

Note: Do not use this guide for the N3300/N3400/N3600, N3700, N5000 Series (N5200, N5300, N5500, N5600), N6000 Series (N6040, N6060, N6070), or N7000 Series (N7600, N7700, N7800, N7900) products. Instead of this guide, refer to the Diagnostic Guide for these earlier N series products.
