DESCRIPTION:
An error in the IBM SONAS Graphical User Interface results in a Cross Frame Scripting vulnerability which can be used by a remote attacker to access the IBM SONAS system as an authenticated administrative user with the privilege of the authenticated administrator.   • Affected releases: IBM SONAS 1.3.0.0 through 1.4.1.1
  • Releases/systems/configurations NOT affected: IBM SONAS 1.4.2.0 and above.

REMEDIATION:


Vendor Fix(es): The issue was fixed beginning with version IBM SONAS 1.4.2.0. IBM SONAS customers running an earlier IBM SONAS version (e.g. IBM SONAS 1.3.2.1 or IBM SONAS 1.4.1.1) must upgrade to IBM SONAS 1.4.2.0 or a later version to obtain this fix.
