Problem(Abstract)
SAN Volume Controller and Storwize V7000 support 8192 Remote Copy Relationships.
However, if more than 4000 Remote Copy relationships are configured, the CIMOM is unable to return the full list to a CIMOM client.
Symptom
If more than 4000 Remote Copy relationships are configured on a SAN Volume Controller or Storwize V7000 system and a CIMOM client issues a query to view the Remote Copy relationships, the client will receive a truncated list of Remote Copy relationships.
In addition, the client may also receive an error message.
Resolving the problem
There are several options available to workaround this issue:
1. Use the GUI to display the RC relationships. This does not use the CIMOM so is not affected by this issue.
2. Use the CLI to display the RC relationships. Similarly, this does not use the CIMOM so is not affected by this issue.
3. Reduce the number of RC relationships to 4000 or less.
