Troubleshooting


Problem

This document provides a link to the LPM Support Matrix which shows the compatible firmware levels for LPM.

Symptom

LPM is blocked between some firmware levels. If customer upgrades firmware and LPM is no longer working, you should check the support matrix.

Resolving The Problem

Ensure that the firmware levels on the source and destination servers are compatible before upgrading.

Note: Live partition mobility directly from one system to another system with the same serial number is not supported.
