Problem

This document explains what action to take if message CPA5305 for QASJSNDHST is received.

Resolving The Problem

If message CPA5305 for QASJSNDHST is received, see APAR SE28746.

For a circumvention, you should perform the following steps:

1.On the operating system command line, type CLRJOBQ QSJINV and press the Enter key.
2.At R530, R540, and R610:

On the operating system command line, type WRKJOB QYIVRIPS and press the Enter key. End any active QYIVRIPS jobs.

At R710:

On the operating system command line, type WRKJOB QSJSENDER and press the Enter key. End any active QSJSENDER jobs.
3.On the operating system command line, type DSPMSG QSYSOPR and press the Enter key. Cancel any outstanding messages regarding QASJSNDHST.
4.On the operating system command line, type CLRPFM QSRVAGT/QASJSNDHST and press the Enter key.

Option 2: Per the APAR noted, CHGPF FILE(QSRVAGT/QASJSNDHST) REUSEDLT(*YES) can be run.

Note: Run either the CLRPFM or the CHGPF command, but not both. The QASJSNDHST will reuse any deleted records.
5.At V5R3:

Load and apply PTF SI15844 immediately. After SI15844 has been applied, end and restart the Management Central server. There are no PTFs required at V5R4 or higher. The issue is fixed in V6R1; however, the file may have residual data if updated from an older release.
