Problem

This document provides information on an updated firmware version that might be needed on the Panasonic WORKiO DP-C262 and DP-C322 color printer models when printing from the IBM System i products system.

Resolving The Problem

An updated firmware version might be needed on the Panasonic WORKiO DP-C262 and DP-C322 color printer models when printing from the IBM System i products system, particularly when using a Remote Output Queue (RMTOUTQ), a *LAN 3812 SNMP or IPP device description or a PC5250 printer session. The following functions might be affected with older firmware versions:

o	Output BIN selection
o	Multiple copy support for RMTOUTQs
o	Sending multiple spooled files through a RMTOUTQ (sometimes the spooled files will stay in OUTQ status after the spooled file has completed printing).

Panasonic Communications Co., Ltd. recommends determining the DP-C322/C262 firmware version and maintaining it at the latest version. If the firmware version is older than the following list, contact the local dealer for the latest firmware update.
