Resolving The Problem

This document provides basic information needed to understand environments using the PowerHA Tools Full System Manager Toolkit for FlashCopy, provided by Technology Services (formerly Lab Services).

The PowerHA Tools Full System Manager Toolkit for FlashCopy (FSFC) is provided through IBM Technology Services, similar to the PowerHA Tools IASP Manager Toolkit (formerly named Advanced Copy Services (ACS)/IASP Manager Toolkit).  Both toolkits require their own license for usage.  Purchasing a license for the PowerHA Tools IASP Manager Toolkit will not be sufficient to use the PowerHA Tools Full System Manager Toolkit.  The PowerHA Tools Full System Manaager Toolkit license enables some of scripts and functions from PowerHA Tools IASP Manager Toolkit needed in order to run the Full System Toolkit functions; however, it is not sufficient to run all IASP Toolkit functions.
