APAR Error Description / Circumvention
-----------------------------------------------
When you use SNDPTFORD to order PTF(s) in an image format,
SNDPTFORD submits the order and then schedules a job to download
the PTF. The job is scheduled based on an estimate of when the
PTF server will have the order ready for download.
The job to perform the download runs and checks on the status of
the PTF order. The PTF server again reports the PTF order is not
ready but will be in 2 seconds. A job is again scheduled to
download the PTF. This pattern repeats itself 13 times. After
the 13th time (which took about 26 seconds from the time of
SNDPTFORD), the order is converted to a media order. The logic
which results in possibly only waiting for 26 seconds seems like
waiting for too little time before giving up.
CORRECTION FOR APAR SE71168 :
-----------------------------
Adding a minimum wait time to image orders before going through
physical media
