APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
An ILE RPG module or program compiled with TGTRLS(V7R2M0) may
make unnecessary calls to QUSRJOBI during module initialization.

Module initialization occurs when the first procedure in the
module is called, and for a cycle-main module, when the main
procedure is called again if previous call to the main procedure
ended with *INLR off, or it ended abnormally.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE65588 :
-----------------------------
The ILE RPG compiler will be change so that QUSRJOBI is only
called during module initialization when it is necessary.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE65588 :
--------------------------------
- Compile with TGTRLS(V7R1M0)

- If the module has a cycle-main procedure, reduce the number
of times that module initialization is done by returning with
LR off.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE64766 :
-----------------------------------------------
When compiling an SQLRPGLE source member with RPGPPOPT(*LVL1)
or *LVL2, msgRNF0308 may be issued incorrectly indicating
that a float literal is invalid. This can occur when an SQL
statement has a line ending in a numeric literal followed by a
line beginning with the character 'E'.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE64766 :
-----------------------------
The preprocessor feature of the ILE RPG compiler will be changed
so that a line ending with a numeric literal may be followed
by a line with the letter E as the first non-blank character.

Note:
Numeric continuation is not allowed in free form. However, the
RPG compiler previously failed to enforce this rule in every
situation. With this APAR, this rule is now always enforced.

For example, the following is not allowed:
x = 123
4;

The following is still valid because numeric continuation is
allowed in fixed form.

C                   eval      x = 123
C                               4

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE64766 :
--------------------------------
Add a comment at the end of the line with the numeric literal.

For example, change this
exec sql declare C1 cursor for
Select   Fld1, Fld2, case
when Fld3 = 'abc' then Fld4 + 1
else                   Fld4
to this
exec sql declare C1 cursor for
Select   Fld1, Fld2, case
when Fld3 = 'abc' then Fld4 + 1 // comment
else                   Fld4

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE64988 :
-----------------------------------------------
When the parameter for the SRCSTMF parameter for CRTRPGMOD or
CRTBNDRPG is in the form
'/QSYS.LIB/MYLIB.LIB/MYSRCFILE.FILE/MYMBR.MBR')
and the parameter is not entirely in upper case, DSPMOD does
not show that the module was compiled from file MYLIB/MYSRCFILE
member MYMBR.

If '/QSYS.LIB' is uppercase, and the remainder of the parameter
is not entirely uppercase, the compile may fail with msgRNS9311
RC 1.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE64988 :
-----------------------------
The ILE RPG compiler will be changed so that the source library,
file, and member will be placed in the module if the SRCSTMF
parameter is in the form
'/qsys.lib/srclib.lib/srcfile.file/srcmbr.mbr'
and it is specified in all uppercase, all lowercase, or a
mixture of upper and lower case.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE64988 :
--------------------------------
Specify the parameter for SRCSTMF with all uppercase.
