APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
V7R2 has abandoned support for windows 2003, though we still
keep as it is if the windows 2003 server has already been
installed before upgrading to v7r2. However, there's a situation
where customer may have saved their windows 2003 server NWSD and
scratch-install upgrade to v7r2 and then restore their NWSD to
it. Since V7R2 has deleted the win32 objects from IBM i, so when
they do the synchronization, the windows win32 objects will also
be deleted causing their server unusable.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE61904 :
-----------------------------
Empty the win32 setup.cfg file so that it won't compare with
windows w32 objects and have no chance to delete those windows
w32 objects.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE61904 :
--------------------------------
None.

Activation Instructions

None.

Special Instructions

The first thing to do after having upgraded to V7R2 and before varying
on any windows 2003 server(or simply before restoring any pre-72
release windows 2003
server to 72 release) is to apply this PTF, or else the synchronization
will delete
some binary files on the windows 2003 server.

Default Instructions

THIS PTF CAN BE APPLIED IMMEDIATE OR DELAYED.
