Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels.  This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs.  By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the
foregoing.

This PTF is subject to the terms of the license agreement which
accompanied, or was contained in, the Program for which you are obtaining
the PTF.  You are not authorized to install or use the PTF except as part

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
The Copy Object (CPY) and Copy To Stream File (CPYTOSTMF)
commands can copy data and authority information from an object
in the QSYS.LIB file system to other file systems. Using
traditional interfaces like the Grant Object Authority
(GRTOBJAUT) command, users can set detailed data authorities for
a save file or data file object. Some combinations of those
detailed data authorities do not exactly map to *RWX data
authorities reported and used by integrated file system
interfaces such as Display Authority (DSPAUT). In these cases
the data authority is reported as 'USER DEF' (user-defined).
There is currently no interface that allows users to directly
change the authority of an integrated file system object to a
user-defined state such as this.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE60116 :
-----------------------------
The QlgChangeAuthority() API will be enhanced to allow users to
specify a set of values similar to the AUT keyword of the
GRTOBJAUT command. This will allow users to duplicate
user-defined authority sets for the file systems that support
those detailed data authorities. See the special instructions
for more information on how to use the API.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE60116 :
--------------------------------
None.

Activation Instructions

None.

Special Instructions

If the PTF is applied as an immediate PTF, active jobs must
be ended and restarted to activate the fix in those jobs. If
the PTF is applied as a delayed PTF, no further action is
necessary.

The PTF provides enhancements to the QlgChangeAuthority() API.
The following parameters have been changed:

Data_Auth_ptr - Input; Char(*) - specifies the data authorities
to be given to the users specified for the User_Names_ptr
parameter. If the Num_User_Names parameter is 0, this parameter
is ignored. Otherwise, this parameter must point to a CHAR(10)
area that contains exactly one of the following values,
blank-padded to 10 bytes:

*SAME, *NONE, *RWX, *RW, *RX, *WX, *R, *W, *X,
*EXCLUDE, *AUTL, *OBJAUT

If *AUTL is specified, then Num_User_Names must be 1 and
the specified user must *PUBLIC. If *OBJAUT is specified, then
the data authorities will be derived from the values specified
on the Object_Auth_ptr parameter.

Num_Object_Auths - Input; Binary(4), Unsigned - specifies the
number of entries in the object authority array pointed to by
the Object_Auth_ptr parameter. If the Num_User_Names parameter
is 0, this parameter is ignored. Otherwise, this parameter must
not be 0. The maximum allowable value is 10.

Object_Auth_ptr - Input; Char(*) - specifies the object
authorities to be given to the users specified for the
User_Names_ptr parameter. If *OBJAUT is specified for the
Data_Auth_ptr parameter, this parameter also specifies additional
detailed data authorities to be given to the users. If the
Num_User_Names parameter is 0, this parameter is ignored.
Otherwise, this parameter must point to a list of CHAR(10)
authority specifiers. Each entry in the list may contain one
of the following values, blank-padded to 10 bytes.

*SAME, *NONE, *ALL, *OBJEXIST, *OBJMGT, *OBJALTER, *OBJREF,
*USE, *CHANGE, *ALLDTAOBJ, *ADD, *DLT, *UPD, *READ, *EXECUTE,
*OBJOPR

If *SAME, *NONE, *ALL, *ALLDTAOBJ, *USE, or *CHANGE is specified,
it must be the only value specified (Num_Object_Auths must be 1).
The *USE, *CHANGE, *ALLDTAOBJ, *ADD, *DLT, *UPD, *READ, *EXECUTE,
and *OBJOPR values are only allowed if *OBJAUT is specified for
the Data_Auth_ptr parameter. Note that *ALL value applies only to
the *OBJEXIST, *OBJMGT, *OBJALTER, and *OBJREF values. The new
*ALLDTAOBJ value indicates those four values in addition to the
*ADD, *DLT, *UPD, *READ, *EXECUTE, and *OBJOPR values.
