Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs. By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

The PTF delivers some improvements on IBM Navigator for i.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE59467' :
-------------------------------
1.DB improvement
In this PTF we have focused on improving the Navigator for i
experience for database users. Focus areas include
under-the-cover performance enhancements, usability improvements
such as tasks launched in popups and tabs, and redesign of a
number of panels to take advantage of modern web technologies.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR 'SE59467' :

None.
DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR 'SE60528' :
-------------------------------------------------
SE60107: HTTPS links not available on the IBM i Tasks Page for
any of the supported web applications when SSL has been
configured.
SE58059: System operator messages did not show German vowels in
IBM Navigator for i.
SE60290: The main panels of IBM Navigator for i are blank
sometimes after user logon.
SE60185: Sending a PTF group using IBM Navigator for i fails.
QZSRCSRVS fails with message CPF389D.
Steps to recreate this issue:
1) Expand IBM i Management->Configuration and Service->Program
Temporary Fixes->PTF Groups
2) Right click a PTF Group and select Send...
3) Go through the wizard, and click Finish button, the sending
process will fail
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE60528' :
-------------------------------
SE60107: This PTF fixes the problem by making the existing page
titles plain text and providing two links next to each line HTTP
and HTTPS:
1. IBM Web Administration for i - HTTP HTTPS
Allows you to manage and configure HTTP servers and application
servers (Located in Internet Configurations)
2. Digital Certificate Manager - HTTP HTTPS
Allows you to create, distribute, and manage Digital
Certificates (Located in Internet Configurations)
3. IBM Tivoli Directory Server Web Administration Tool - HTTP
HTTPS
Allows you to administer the IBM Tivoli Directory Server for i
(Located in Network)
4. IBM IPP Server for i - HTTP HTTPS
Allows you to configure the IBM IPP Server (Located in Internet
Configurations)
5. Cryptographic Coprocessor - HTTP HTTPS
Allows you to configure the cryptographic coprocessor (Located
in Security)
SE58059: This PTF fixes the problem.
SE60290: This PTF fixes the problem by checking and creating the
temporary directory specified by the java.io.tmpdir property.
SE60185: This PTF fixes the problem.
CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR 'SE60528' :
----------------------------------
SE58059: This can be fixed by adding the following line:
-Dcom.ibm.as400.access.AS400.mustUseSockets=true
to the i5.javaopt file located at:
/QIBM/UserData/OS/OSGi/LWISysInst/admin2/lwi/conf/overrides
This PTF fixes the problem so the circumvention is no longer
needed after install the PTF.
Activation Instructions
None.
Special Instructions
1. Enter the following command to stop the QHTTPSVR subsystem before
applying PTF:
ENDSBS SBS(QHTTPSVR) OPTION(*IMMED)
2. Apply or remove this PTF (immediate mode).
3. Start the HTTP server(s) using:
STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN)
4. It is highly recommended to clear the browser cache after applying
this PTF.
