APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
For every memory pool the count of pages in it that reside in
IASPs is kept.  When the count of IASP pages in the pool exceeds
the threshold for IASP pages allowed, jobs are put into an IASP
page out wait state until the number of IASP pages in the pool
falls below the threshold.  It is possible for the count of IASP
pages to go negative, which makes it appear that the threshold
is exceeded, and no new IASP pages are allowed in the pool. This
causes all jobs that reference data in the IASP to hang, as they
are placed into the IASP page out wait state.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA44579 :
-----------------------------
The code is corrected so the count of IASP pages in each memory
pool is always valid.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA44579 :
--------------------------------
