APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
A partition may terminate with SRCB6000103 while running normal
operations when configured to use Advanced Memory Sharing with
virtual SCSI attached devices.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43934 :
-----------------------------
Prevent a blocking stack switch from occurring while processing
virtual SCSI I/O responses with interrupts disabled.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA43934 :
--------------------------------
None.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA44004 :
-----------------------------------------------
D/T6B22 virtual SCSI disk units configured in an Independent
Auxiliary Storage Pool (IASP) and using Metro Mirroring for high
availability may remain in a "Not detected" state when the IASP
is detached and then reattached.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA44004 :
-----------------------------
Virtual disk device may be deleted unnecessarily while the disks
are logically detached from the system.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA44004 :
--------------------------------
None.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA44006 :
-----------------------------------------------
While initializing multiple virtual SCSI disk devices (D/T6B22,
D/T6B23, or D/T6B4E) at once in a partition that is using a
shared memory pool, the initialization may fail and one or more
of the disks will have a status of Not Connected in Hardware
Service Manager.  Initialization occurs when attempting to add
nonconfigured disks to an Auxiliary Storage Pool or by the
Initialize & Format disk unit recovery action.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA44006 :
-----------------------------
The buffer containing sector 0 from the previous disk will be
cleared before requesting inquiry data from the next disk during
device discovery processing.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA44006 :
--------------------------------
Only initialize a single disk unit at a time.
