Abstract
ILEC-CMPL-MSGCPF2110 SQL COMPILATION WITHOUT QSYSINC
Error Description
In order to support SQL include enhancement, ILE C compiler was
updated to add QSYSINC into library list when it is invoked from
SQL. This was done by APAR SE66029.
But if QSYSINC (5770SS1 option 13) is not installed on the
system, compilation will fail with MSGCPF2110 and MSGMCH3601,
and SQL procedure creation will fail with MSGSQL7032. For SQL
procedure creation, if header files in QSYSINC are not used,
compilation should not fail even if QSYSINC is not installed.
This was fixed by APAR SE67251.
With the above fix, MSGCPF2110 is still generated for a
successful compilation. This causes a confusion.
Problem Summary
When ILE C compiler is invoked by STRSQL session or RUNSQL
command, MSGCPF2110 will be generated if library QSYSINC
(5770SS1 option 13) is not installed. This causes a confusion
for successful compilation.
Problem Conclusion
The ILE C compiler will be updated to fix this problem.
MSGCPF2110 will not be generated for STRSQL and RUNSQL if
library QSYSINC (5770SS1 option 13) is not installed.
