Abstract

OSP-OTHER-UNPRED USING THE DISTRIBUTE INFORMATION API IN A
CLUSTER COULD RESULT IN CRG JOB ENDING ABNORMALLY.

Error Description

Application users that leverage the Distribute Information      
(QcstDistributeInformation) API in an IBM i cluster environment
could experience an abnormal end of a CRG job due to an        
internal code bug.                                              

Problem Summary

Application users that leverage the Distribute Information      
(QcstDistributeInformation) API in an IBM i cluster environment
could experience an abnormal end of a CRG job due to an internal
code bug.                                                      

Problem Conclusion

Code has been enhanced to properly handle and prevent an        
abnormal end of the CRG job when using the Distributed          
Information (QcstDistributeInformation) API.
