Abstract
SQL-CMPL-INCORROUT CRTSQLRPGI PROBLEM IGNORED STATEMENTS
Error Description
If a variable named 'include' is declared in a SQLRPGLE program
for use as a host variable with SQL, either standalone or as
part of a qualified data structure, the SQL pre-compiler
ignores the SQL statements that reference it.
Problem Summary
When the SQL ILE RPG precompiler (CRTSQLRPGI command) is used to
compile RPG source with an embedded SQL statement which contains
a reference to the name INCLUDE, the embedded SQL statement is
ignored. Any type of reference to INCLUDE may cause the
statement to be ignored. Some possible types of references are
a host variable name, an element of a qualified data structure
host variable name, a table name, or a column name.
Problem Conclusion
The SQL ILE RPG precompiler (CRTSQLRPGI command) will be
modified to correctly handle embedded SQL statements which
contain a reference to the name INCLUDE.
