Abstract

OSP-MSGMCH0601 in QLILIST when lib assoc space has incorrect
offset

Error Description

Program QLILIST is called to get a list of object names and
descriptive information about objects in a library.  If a
library's associated space has an incorrect offset field,
program QLILIST attempts to use the incorrect offset field to
access the object information repository (OIR) objects for the
library.  A MCH0601 error occurs in program QLILIST using the
incorrect offset field and then a function check (CPF9999)
error.

The following messages occur:
MCH0601 - Space offset X'00000000' or X'0000000000000000' is
outside current limit for object &1
CPF9999 - Function check. MCH0601 unmonitored by QLILIST at
statement *N, instruction X'0C66'.

CPF9999 - Function check. MCH0601 unmonitored by QLILIST at
statement *N, instruction X'0C66'.

Problem Conclusion

Program QLILIST was corrected to handle a MCH0601 error which
occurred when an incorrect offset value was used.  When an error
occurs on the library's associated space, program QLIRCLLI is
called to recover or rebuild the library's associated space.
