Abstract

RFC 2328 AMBIGUITIES AND VULNERABILITIES - ORIGINATION OF
INITIALSEQUENCENUMBER LSA

Error Description

If the InitialSequenceNumber LSA is not originated, then the    
routing tables are affected by the missing LSA, which may lead  
to loss of connectivity.

* USERS AFFECTED: All IBM i operating system users who use     *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply PTF SI64412 for i 7.1.                 *
*                 Apply PTF SI64411 for i 7.2.                 *
*                 Apply PTF SI64350 for i 7.3.                 *
****************************************************************
If the InitialSequenceNumber LSA is not originated, the routing
tables are affected by the missing LSA, which may lead to loss  
of connectivity.                                                

Problem Conclusion

The PTF is to address the problem.
