Abstract

IPL-SRCD90027C0-WAIT ECHO PROCESSING BETWEEN THE SYSBAS AND
IASP AFTER THE JOB HAS BEEN TERMINATED RESULTING IN THE JOB

Error Description

Echo Processing between SYSBAS and IASP after the job has been  
terminated results in the job thread hang. Logic in SLIC DB    
code will hang job execution prior to taking data space, data  
space index, and journal objects out of sync with each other    
if the flag is set for system/IASP "shutdown".                  

Problem Summary

The system is performing Echo Processing between the sysbas and
iasp after the job has been terminated resulting in the job    
thread hang.                                                    
Logic in slic db code will hang job execution prior to taking  
data space, data space index, and journal objects out of sync  
with each other if the flag is set for system/iasp "shutdown".  

Problem Conclusion

We will no longer hang the process when working with objects on
an IASP.
