****************************************************************
Customer has queries with transitive JOINs that are not
returning the correct result for SUM aggregate. Appears some
rows are not included in the result.
Problem Conclusion
Customer query had multiple left outer joins with local
selection predicates specific to the left outer join that could
be transitive closed per the join predicate with the main,
leading query table but these also involved carry over to other
left outer joins in the query. This resulted in an incorrect
predicate getting applied to the tree and impacting the final
answer. The predicates had to also involve implicit casts added
for data type matching. The logic was fixed so that there can be
no carry over related to multiple Left Outer Join or Left
Exception Join and local selection predicates and these casted
expressions.
