Live Kernel Update fails with errors 1430-024 and 1430-045
1430-024 An error occurred when requesting resources.
1430-045 The live update operation failed. Cleanup action is started.

Looking at the /var/adm/ras/liveupdate/logs/lvupdlog you will see:
lvup_clone: Unable to clone olpar. HMC error : hmcLkuClone:
Error occurred while querying for VirtualMediaRepository from VIOS
.
The issue can be that the vio_daemon times out or solidDB is not running for Change Management.
.
Run the script refresh_cmdb_adv.sh on VIOS,
you get the script from
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/systems/virtualization/vio/ztools/CMDB/
