PXE boot fail to download kickstart file on compute nodes
When PCMAE provisioning a large number of nodes concurrently, PXE boot on a few nodes failed to download the kickstart file (see screenshot attached).
If the switch is not configured to handle large amounts of traffic at the same time, provisioning a large number of nodes concurrently will result in network time-outs on some nodes.
Resolving the problem
To avoid time-outs, configure your switch so that spanning tree is disabled and portfast option is enabled. Then cancel and delete the application instance and redeploy it.
