IBM Support

LSF does not recognize that "max locked memory" has been updated.

Troubleshooting

Problem

LSF does not recognize that "max locked memory" has been updated.

Resolving The Problem

The value of "max locked memory" has been modified at the operating system level, but LSF still returns the original value.

1. To update LSF, shut down sbatchd and then start it again. To do so, log on as lsfadmin and run badmin hshutdown/badmin hstartup.
Do NOT use the command badmin hrestart to restart sbatchd, it will not work.

2. To confirm that the limit has been set for jobs, run bsub -I ulimit -a.
