General Information

This section contains general information, i.e. SYSGEN hints/tips. 1. 17/09/01 Additional Information: Note that if you have an API program that connects to a CMAS that has the fix applied, the API program will received the longer, updated records with the new fields for tables WLMAWORK, WLMAWTOR and WLMAWAOR, if the VERSION specified on the CONNECT command is a release for which the fix was provided for this change. You must update your program to take this into account. For an API program, the CMAS only delivers 'best-so-far' levels of tables. Because this fix is being delivered to CPSM releases 4.1 and later, any CMAS that has the fix applied will deliver the updated records to an API program that does an EXEC CPSM CONNEC using a VERSION of 0410, 0420, 0510, 0520, 0530 or 0540. It does not matter whether the user is actually running the release specified in the CONNECT call, or if they applied the PTF for that release - a CMAS that has the fix applied will assume ANY API program that connects to it can handle the expanded records if the VERSION specifies 0410 or later. This fix is being supplied to CPSM versions 4.1 and later through: - CPSM V4R1M0 - APAR PI60326 , PTF UI45102 - CPSM V4R2M0 - APAR PI60326 , PTF UI45103 - CPSM V5R1M0 - APAR PI60273 , PTF UI45104 - CPSM V5R2M0 - APAR PI60273 , PTF UI45105 - CPSM V5R3M0 - APAR PI60327 , PTF UI45106 - CPSM V5R4M0 - included in the GA release of the product Failure to update API programs to handle the expanded table records will result in length errors on the EXEC CPSM FETCH calls, as indicated by the following response and reason codes RESP(1028) : REAS(1285)
