    ABENDIOL008

During PPRC summary unit check recovery, guests accessing the
affected devices which don't support the summary unit check are
presented with state change interrupts. However, this code does
not currently check if the VDEV which would receive the
interrupt is in the process of being detached. This results in
an IOL008 if the VDEV lock is obtained for presenting the state
change interrupt while the detach is in process.

Problem conclusion

  • The code which presents state change interrupts to guests was
updated to check the VDEVNOTO flag which indicates that a given
VDEV is in the process of being detached. If the indicator is
set, the state change interrupt will not be presented for that
    device.
