Current zHPF guest support does not support the advanced HPF
features that are in common use now even if the hardware
supports them.

  • HPF channel program translation is changed to support the latest
hardware available. This includes the use of the Transport
Command Area Extension (TCAX). In addition, the now supported
features are passed to the guest as available when the
SSI environment allows this.
