  • Incorrect output received from batch FCH function when changing
    a value for a JCL parameter and JCL=YES is specified.

Problem summary

    *                      changing using the Find/Change (FCH)    *
    *                      utility with the JCL=YES option         *
    *                      specified.                              *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    When a parameter in a DD JCL statement continues over multiple
    lines, for example, an ADDRESS parameter with multiple addresses
    which cause the statement to be continued over more than 2
    lines, the altered JCL member does not contain valid JCL.
    

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager has been modified to correct this problem.  This
    APAR resolves internally reported problems PFM05782, PFM05784
    and PFM05788.
