  • Customer can not find a way to change the SPAWNED MSGCLASS.
It is always H, lookes like hardcoded.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Modifying the class for IPVTRACE in     *
*                      the configuration files is ineffective  *
*                      for launched sessions.                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
The common server API was opening the trace file before scanning
for a user specified class allocation for the trace file,
meaning it falls back to an internal default class.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The common server code has been corrected in order to honor the
allocation parameters for IPVTRACE. Furthermore, parms placed in
the CONFIG=DEFAULT, SPAWN_PARMS_SECTION will now be inherited by
all configurations.
